Why a self care program?
Asthma
is chronic disease, which can affect persons of all ages. It is one of
the fastest
growing diseases in the U.S. Most importantly, asthma can be life threatening
if not properly managed.
How does the program work?
The program is designed
to work with you and your physician in the management of your asthma
symptoms.
The program is designed to educate you to understand your asthma symptoms
and their treatment. This means that when you experience symptoms they
will be less severe and you will know how to effectively respond to them.
What are the goals of this program?
