Why a self care program?
Asthma is chronic disease, which can affect persons of all ages. It is one of the fastest growing diseases in the U.S. Most importantly, asthma can be life threatening if not properly managed.

How does the program work?
The program is designed to work with you and your physician in the management of your asthma symptoms.

The program is designed to educate you to understand your asthma symptoms and their treatment. This means that when you experience symptoms they will be less severe and you will know how to effectively respond to them. What are the goals of this program?

  • Learn your asthma symptoms
  • Learn what “triggers” your symptoms
  • Learn how to track your progress
